With the weather changing, I wanted to give an update of the flower beds. Can you believe it is almost September? Last weekend we had snow in the mountains!! Crazy, I am not ready for winter… But back in April we gave our flower beds a little makeover then we installed a drip system, to make my life a little easier. And watering the flower beds has been a breeze all year… We are loving our drip system!!! But here is our flower beds last April:
And currently, I really need to put the shutters back onto the house and add some color to the front because this is a little boring… Plus, repaint the light pole but I have been trying to get that done all week, it has been raining almost everyday. Maybe next week I can get it done.
The plants we added are really starting to grow.
And the backyard, please ignore the side next to the garage. We have changed our minds again and are planning on putting some plants over there next year, plus a little storage shed for the kids outside toys…
The nutri-mulch we used has washed away a little but we still love it. We plan on adding some more next year to fill things in. Did anyone else update their flower beds this year? Or wanted to?
