Our week has been a little crazy and what I had planned to post about yesterday, well it did not happen because of our week (You will see it on Monday!). Why has our week been so crazy??? Well we are dealing with some big plumbing issues in our house. Like the main sewer line and all the rest of the pipes underground….
This was something we were afraid was going to need to be replaced but we hoped and prayed that it was fine. BUT Monday we decided to have our main snaked and have a camera look at the inside of our pipes. Come to find out our pipe needed to be replaced or re-lined with a new pipe. On Tuesday, we had a whole in our basement floor showing use that we need to replace all of our underground pipes. But to save us thousands of dollars we decided to demo the cement ourselves.
So yesterday we rented a jackhammer and broke up our cement (only were the pipe will be). Today and tomorrow, we will be exposing all of the pipe, for the plumper to come on Monday. But let me tell you I have no idea why we did not have a backup before because the pipe that comes from the kitchen & washing machine has at least 5 brakes in the pipe.
Even though this is costing a very very pretty penny, we feel so so blessed that we caught the problem before it became a really big problem. Which would have costed us more money…
