House TO-DO List

Can you believe we are already in the month of August? I still can not believe it. It’s crazy how fast time fly’s. And because we have reached our half-year mark of living in this house. It’s time for another house to-do list to see exactly where we are with the house projects. Things on the list may change over time but for now its our list of things to do.

Let’s start with that list: 

– The Front/Side Yard (64% Complete) –

  • Install drywall
  • Update sink
  • Paint walls, ceiling, and trim
  • Add barn door
  • Add a ceiling light fixture

– Basement Bedroom (23% Complete) –

  • Make window to code and add new window

  • Remove brick box behind door
  • Remove old carpeting and install new
  • Remove wall paneling and ceiling paneling
  • Install drywall
  • Add trim and crown molding
  • Paint walls, ceiling, and trim
  • Paint door and update hardware
  • Add blinds or curtains
  • Add a ceiling light fixture

– The Closet below Front Porch (42% Complete) –

What a list… I can not believe all that we have done but we still have a list to do. Sometimes I wonder what we got ourselves into and if we will ever have the money to finish all this… But with time it will all get done. How is your to-do list going?
