STEP 1: cut the stems

After purchasing the materials it is time to prep the flowers and greenery so they are ready to be placed onto the ring.

Use wire cutters to cut the stems of each flower. You will be left with something like this.

STEP 2: add the greenery

Take the greenery and attach it onto the metal ring, you want to place the greener on only half of the hoop. So take half of the greenery and place on 1/4 of the hoop using the floral wire to secure it into place.

TIP: Try to hide the wire by placing it behind leaves.

After attaching half of the greenery, attach the other half onto another 1/4 of the hoop.

SIDE NOTE: You want the stem ends all facing toward each other. And you want them touching so that the ends will be covered by flowers.

STEP 3: Attach the flowers

Now it’s time to attach the flowers. Start with the biggest flower, the Peony, in this case, bend the stem so you can wrap the wire around it to attach it to the hoop. Place the flower in the middle of where the greenery stems come together and attach using the wire.

Next decide where you want the other flowers placed around the big flower, again bend the stem. Once you like the layout attach each flower using the wire.

TIP: Remember to try to hide the wire behind the flower.

Adjust anything that needs to be adjusted to give you the look you want. And now you have a completed floral ring wreath that you made yourself!
