King Fireworks Quilt Finished!

It’s finally done!! Our quilt for our master bedroom is done!! HAY!!

King Quilt

Back in December of last year, I started this lovely quilt.  We decided on the Fireworks Pattern by Thimble Blossoms. It took me 2 months to complete the top of the quilt. You can see more about completing the quilt here

I am very lucky and my amazing mom quilted the quilt on her sewing machine. I know!! Can you believe she did all that on her machine by Free Motion Quilting. And this quilt is big… It would have taken me forever. Again AMAZING, Thanks MOM!!!

This is beautiful! The quilting you mom did is absolutely gorgeous.

I haven’t made one for myself yet, I’ve been quilting for three years and I’m always tied down making someone’s baby a quilt. Which is fine, I love giving them as gifts but it keeps me from focusing on myself.

That and I just have not picked a color scheme, I guess I have trouble committing [to colors].

Thanks Amanda, I completely understand it took us 2 years to pick out the color/pattern we wanted. Good luck trying to decide!!
